Welcome to the online home of the "L.A.S.T. Resort"...short for "Lakeside Animal Sanctuary & Training Resort." We are a Texas-based 501(c) (3) charity whose ongoing mission is to provide "healing hands, hope and hospitality" for abused, neglected and at-risk dogs.
We're devoted to finding suitable homes for our adoptable dogs as well as providing training and consultation for pets with aggressive tendencies and/or behavioral issues.
As a new non-profit, we will be actively looking to form relationships with other rescues here in Texas and beyond. We're also hoping to recruit local volunteers in the Lake Whitney area willing to donate their time to our efforts.
